The Miller Smith 252-20-09 Silverline High Purity Analytical Liquid Cylinder Regulator is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of laboratory and analytical environments. Part of the esteemed 250 Silverline Series, this single-stage regulator is specifically designed for use with liquid cylinders, featuring a rear-entry back mount configuration that simplifies connection to cryogenic vessels. The unit is equipped with a CGA 580 inlet, making it suitable for inert gases such as Argon, Nitrogen, and Helium, and provides a delivery pressure range of 0-100 PSIG.

Advanced Materials and Construction

Constructed from rugged brass bar stock, the entire assembly—including the body, bonnet, and gauges—is nickel-plated. This plating offers superior protection against corrosion, maintaining the regulator's integrity and cleanliness in sensitive environments. At the heart of the device lies a large 1-7/8 inch stainless steel diaphragm. Unlike elastomeric diaphragms, stainless steel provides exceptional sensitivity and precise pressure control, which is critical when handling gases derived from cryogenic liquid sources where temperature fluctuations can occur. This metal diaphragm also ensures a longer service life by resisting the embrittlement often associated with cryogenic applications.

The 252-20-09 incorporates Smith’s exclusive Sure-Seat™ filtered seat technology.
