The Miller Smith 825-00-27 is a premium component of the 820 Silverline series, engineered specifically for high-pressure analytical and industrial applications. Unlike standard diaphragm regulators, this unit utilizes a robust piston sensor design. Piston sensors are preferred in high-pressure environments (up to 6000 PSIG inlet) because they offer superior structural reliability and resistance to pressure spikes, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. The regulator is configured with a CGA 677 inlet connection, making it suitable for high-pressure inert gases such as Nitrogen, Argon, or Helium.

Constructed from brass and finished with a high-quality nickel plating, the body and bonnet are protected against corrosion, significantly extending the service life of the unit in laboratory or industrial environments. The regulator features a delivery pressure range of 0-2000 PSIG, controlled by a low-torque, self-relieving adjusting screw.
