Engineered specifically for "piped shop" systems or downstream applications where gas is supplied at a regulated low pressure, this unit is calibrated to operate optimally at an inlet pressure of 25 PSIG. It is not a cylinder regulator and should not be connected directly to high-pressure gas cylinders. The device supports three of the most common shielding gases used in arc welding: Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Argon, and Helium, making it a versatile component for facilities utilizing multiple welding processes.

Construction quality is a hallmark of the Victor Professional line. The FM 370 features a flow tube and outer cover tube made from impact-resistant Lexan. This material choice significantly enhances durability compared to traditional glass tubes, which are prone to breakage in active industrial settings.
