Engineered as a direct replacement for Harris-style 2290-H series tips, this Size 3 nozzle is optimized for use with alternative fuel gases, specifically Propane and Natural Gas. Unlike standard acetylene tips, the 2290-3H utilizes a recessed multi-flame orifice configuration that stabilizes the flame cone at high flow rates, preventing blow-off and ensuring consistent heat distribution across the workpiece.

This heating tip is a critical component of a modular torch system. It is designed to thread securely onto Uniweld's AHE series stainless steel elbows, including models 2310 (10-inch), 2316 (16-inch), and 2328 (28-inch). This modularity provides significant operational flexibility, allowing the technician to select the appropriate elbow length for the specific task—whether working in confined spaces or requiring extended reach to mitigate radiant heat exposure.
