The TurboTorch PL-5ADLX-MC Extreme Self-Lighting Torch Kit (SKU: 0386-0832) is a comprehensive air-acetylene outfit designed for professional plumbing and HVAC applications. This kit is engineered around the Extreme Swirl Combustion Technology, which optimizes the fuel-air mixture to produce a high-intensity flame, maximizing heat transfer and reducing brazing time. The system is rated for soft soldering copper tubing up to 1-1/2 inches (38mm) and silver brazing up to 3/4 inch (19mm), making it suitable for a wide range of residential and light commercial pipe work.

The kit includes the PL-5A tip, which features a built-in self-igniting trigger mechanism. This eliminates the requirement for external spark lighters, improving workflow efficiency and safety. The tip connects to the G-4 handle via a quick-disconnect system, allowing operators to swap tips rapidly without tools.
