At the heart of this system are the innovative EDGE 2.0 Series regulators, which represent a significant leap forward in gas control technology. The ESS32 regulators feature easy-to-read gauges with high-contrast graphics and color-coded knobs for instant gas identification, ensuring safer and more intuitive operation in busy industrial environments. The regulators are built with a forged brass body and a zinc-aluminum alloy housing cap that offers nearly twice the yield strength of brass, ensuring longevity even under rough handling.
This outfit is anchored by the WH315FC+ torch handle and CA 2460+ cutting attachment. The handle is engineered with built-in flashback arrestors and reverse flow check valves, providing a critical layer of safety without the need for external add-ons that can impede flow or add weight. The CA 2460+ cutting attachment features a 90-degree head angle and utilizes Series 1 cutting tips, capable of slicing through steel up to 8 inches thick when equipped with the proper optional tips. Out of the box, the kit includes a 1-1-101 cutting tip suitable for cutting up to 3/4-inch material.
Because this kit is designed for alternative fuels, it comes standard with a 20-foot T-Grade twin hose. Unlike R-Grade hoses, T-Grade hoses are chemically resistant to the damaging effects of propane and propylene, preventing the hose from rotting or cracking over time. The kit also includes a heavy-duty 8T55 heating nozzle, making it an excellent choice for preheating applications in structural steel fabrication, repair, and maintenance.
