The Lincoln Electric Magnum® Classic K115-10 is a heavy-duty semiautomatic welding gun engineered specifically for the Flux-Cored Self-Shielded (FCAW-SS) welding process. Rated at 450 amperes at a 60% duty cycle with CO2, this gun meets NEMA specification EW3, ensuring reliable performance under rigorous industrial conditions. The K115-10 configuration is distinguished by its 15-foot (4.5 meter) cable length, providing operators with significant reach for large-scale fabrication and field erection tasks where power source proximity is limited.

Designed for high-deposition welding, the gun accommodates large diameter wires ranging from 3/32 inch (2.4 mm) to 0.120 inch (3.0 mm). It comes factory-ready to feed 3/32-inch wire, including a Severe Duty Contact Tip (KP2103-4B1) and two insulated guides for varying stickout requirements (1-1/2 inch and 2-3/4 inch). The gun utilizes an air-cooling method, eliminating the need for external water coolers while maintaining thermal stability during extended welding arcs.

Structurally, the K115-10 is built with a reinforced rubber jacket that encases the cable, adding substantial tensile strength and resistance to cuts, abrasion, and heat—common hazards in construction and shipbuilding environments. The gun handle features a heavy-duty trigger switch designed for positive electrical contact, reducing the risk of intermittent signaling and switch failure. This model is equipped with a 45-degree gun tube, which offers a standard ergonomic angle for horizontal and flat fillet welds, though alternate gun tubes are available for specialized access.
