The Tweco® Tapered Short Stop Copper Nozzle is specifically designed for use with standard gas diffusers and Tweco® no.2 MIG guns up to 250 A. It has a 0.375" bore size and a 3.015" nozzle with a 3/4" OD, making it ideal for light to medium duty welding applications. The part number is easily identifiable, as it is rolled stamped on the outer surface. This nozzle effortlessly slides over the standard nozzle insulator and can be adjusted to achieve the desired contact tip and nozzle relationship. Made of 122 DHP copper alloy, it features a nozzle housing that is cut and formed from copper alloy tubing. Each pack contains 2 nozzles. The recessed tips are suitable for higher heat applications and allow for longer electrical stick-out, while the flush tips are perfect for shorter electrical stick-outs and tighter arc lengths, bringing the tip closer to the workpiece. The protruding tips are designed for welding tight weld joints, although there is a risk of arcing if the tip touches the workpiece, potentially causing damage to front end parts and requiring replacement.
