13401126 - Tweco 34CT Coarse Thread Nozzle Insulator for #3 and #4 MIG Guns

Tweco 34CT Nozzle Insulator (1340-1126)

The Tweco 34CT Nozzle Insulator is a critical component designed for heavy-duty MIG welding applications. Manufactured to OEM specifications, this insulator ensures proper electrical isolation between the gas nozzle and the electrically live contact tip and gas diffuser assembly. It is specifically engineered with coarse threads to mate securely with the 54A gas diffuser, commonly found in Tweco® #3 (300 Amp) and #4 (400 Amp) MIG guns, as well as compatible Lincoln® Magnum® 300 and 400 series assemblies.

Constructed from high-temperature resistant composite materials, the 34CT withstands the intense heat and spatter typical of high-amperage welding. Its robust design prevents arc-out and short-circuiting against the workpiece, protecting both the consumable front-end parts and the welding operator. The coarse thread profile allows for quick removal and replacement during maintenance intervals, minimizing downtime in industrial environments.

This insulator is a direct replacement for the standard insulator found on classic Tweco-style MIG guns. It maintains the concentricity of the nozzle, ensuring consistent shielding gas coverage over the weld pool. Regular inspection and replacement of the nozzle insulator are recommended to maintain optimal gun performance and weld quality.
