The GEN42-4045-15 is a premium aftermarket replacement conduit liner designed to meet or exceed the specifications of the original Tweco 42-4045-15. Engineered for professional fabrication environments, this liner is compatible with a wide array of industry-standard MIG guns, specifically those in the 180A to 250A range. This includes the classic Tweco Professional Choice No. 1 and No. 2 series, the Spray Master MS250, the Eliminator EL250, and the Lincoln Magnum 250 series which utilizes Tweco-style back-end consumables. It is also suitable for use with Tweco WeldSkill and Fusion series guns ranging from 140A to 250A.

Constructed from high-tensile spring steel, the liner features a zinc plating treatment. This plating serves a dual purpose: it provides essential corrosion resistance, protecting the liner from environmental humidity during storage and use, and it offers a smoother surface finish compared to bare steel. This reduction in friction coefficient is critical for maintaining consistent wire feed speeds, particularly when the gun cable is manipulated into tight positions. The liner is wound to a precise internal diameter to accommodate welding wires ranging from .040" (1.0mm) to .045" (1.2mm), ensuring optimal support for the wire column without causing excessive drag or allowing the wire to buckle inside the conduit.

The back end of the liner is terminated with a machined brass alloy stop.
