The Tweco 1440-1105 (also known as 44-3545-25) is a premium standard conduit liner designed to maintain the efficiency and reliability of your MIG welding operations. Manufactured by Tweco, a leader in welding gun technology, this liner is engineered to guide welding wire smoothly from the feeder to the contact tip, minimizing friction and preventing common feeding issues such as bird-nesting or erratic arc stability.
This specific liner is constructed from high-quality zinc-plated spring steel. The zinc plating serves a dual purpose: it significantly reduces the coefficient of friction between the liner and the welding wire, and it provides essential protection against corrosion and rust, which can accumulate inside the cable assembly over time. Designed for use with mild steel and flux-cored wires ranging from .035" to .045" (0.9mm to 1.2mm), it is a versatile component for many fabrication environments.
With a total length of 25 feet (7.6 meters), this conduit is suitable for extended reach cable assemblies. It can be easily measured and trimmed to fit shorter guns, making it a flexible stock item for maintenance teams. It is compatible with Tweco 44 Series systems, fitting popular gun models like the Spray Master series and the Classic Number 3, 4, and 5 guns. Regular replacement of your conduit liner is a critical maintenance step that ensures your welding parameters remain consistent and your welds high-quality.
