The Tweco 375980-010 Drive Roll Kit is a critical component designed to ensure the precise delivery of welding wire in MIG applications. Engineered specifically for Tweco and Thermal Arc wire feed systems, this kit features a reversible drive roll mechanism. One side of the roll is machined with a groove for .030-inch (0.8mm) wire, while the opposing side accommodates .035-inch (0.9mm) wire. This dual-purpose design streamlines inventory and maintenance for industrial environments where multiple wire sizes are utilized.

Manufactured from high-grade, heat-treated steel, the drive roll resists wear from the constant friction of steel and stainless steel wires. The V-groove geometry is specifically calibrated for "hard" solid wires, providing the necessary traction to push the wire through the liner and contact tip without deforming the wire cross-section. Proper traction is essential for maintaining a stable arc and preventing burn-back or birdnesting at the feeder inlet.
