The PW38-50T is a high-performance Grade T twin welding hose designed for industrial oxy-fuel applications requiring versatility and durability. Unlike Grade R hoses, which are limited to acetylene use, this Grade T hose is engineered with a polychloroprene (neoprene) tube and cover that provides superior resistance to oil, flame, and the chemical properties of alternate fuel gases. This makes it universally compatible with Acetylene, Propane, Propylene, Natural Gas, and MAPP gas, allowing facilities to switch fuel sources without changing equipment lines.
This assembly features a substantial 3/8-inch internal diameter (I.D.), which significantly reduces pressure drop over its 50-foot length compared to smaller 1/4-inch hoses. This increased flow capacity is critical for heavy-duty applications such as heating with large rosebud tips or cutting thick steel sections where consistent gas volume is essential for flame stability. The hose is reinforced with high-tensile synthetic yarn to withstand working pressures up to 200 PSI while maintaining flexibility.
