The Lincoln Electric Magnum PRO 150SG Spool Gun (K5471-1) is a premium accessory designed to enhance the versatility of your Lincoln MIG welder. Engineered specifically for the challenges of feeding soft aluminum wire, this spool gun eliminates the friction and bird-nesting often associated with pushing aluminum through standard long MIG cables. Rated for a robust 150 amps at 100% duty cycle, the 150SG is built for continuous performance in both light industrial and hobbyist applications.

One of the standout features of the K5471-1 is its utilization of Lincoln’s Magnum PRO consumables. These Copper Plus contact tips feature a larger diameter and more mass, improving heat dissipation and extending tip life. The patented anti-seize threads on the contact tips and diffusers prevent the parts from fusing together, ensuring easy maintenance and reduced downtime. This professional-grade front-end technology brings industrial reliability to a compact spool gun package.

The 150SG is designed with adaptability in mind. It connects directly to Lincoln Electric welding machines featuring 4-pin or 8-pin gun receptacles, thanks to the included adapter. The unit is lightweight and balanced, featuring a cushioned grip and a full-travel mechanical trigger that provides excellent feedback even through heavy welding gloves. An adjustable, removable fore grip is included to help operators maintain steady control during long welds, further reducing fatigue and improving weld quality.
