The Fronius 44.0350.3410 Combination Liner is a specialized consumable engineered to enhance the performance of the MTG 320i MIG gun system. In high-precision welding environments, the stability of wire delivery is paramount, particularly when working with softer materials like aluminum which are prone to buckling and friction-related feeding issues. This liner addresses those challenges through a hybrid design that combines materials to optimize both feedability and thermal durability.

Designed for .045-inch (1.2mm) wire diameters, this liner features a low-friction internal surface that significantly reduces drag, ensuring consistent wire speed and arc stability. The “combination” aspect typically refers to the integration of a durable, heat-resistant segment at the torch neck—where temperatures are highest—and a low-friction polymer body through the cable assembly. This construction allows the liner to handle the thermal stresses of the contact tip area while providing the smooth glide required for aluminum wire, without sacrificing the rigidity needed for mild steel.
