The ArcOne X450V Xtreme 4×5 Variable Auto-Darkening Filter is a premium optical upgrade designed for welders who demand the best in clarity and control. Manufactured by ArcOne (a division of Walter Surface Technologies), this filter is engineered to fit standard 5.25-inch by 4.5-inch helmet openings, making it the perfect replacement or upgrade for the popular ArcOne Retro, Vision, and Python series helmets, as well as other brands utilizing this standard cartridge size.

At the heart of the X450V is ArcOne’s Xtreme technology, which delivers a high-definition view of the weld puddle. Unlike traditional filters that can obscure the work area with a muddy green tint, the Xtreme lens provides a crisp, clear image that helps fabricators maintain tight tolerances and produce cleaner welds. With a massive 12.6 square inch viewing area, you gain superior peripheral awareness without the need to constantly reposition your head.

Versatility is key in modern fabrication environments. The X450V features a fully digital control panel that allows for precise adjustments. The variable shade range of 5 to 14 covers virtually every welding process, from low-amperage precision TIG to heavy industrial MIG and Stick welding. Four redundant sensors ensure that the lens darkens the instant an arc is struck, even when welding out-of-position or around obstructions.

Advanced Digital Control
