The Western Enterprises WES15-4 is a high-specification brass nipple designed to facilitate secure connections in compressed gas systems. Engineered for versatility and reliability, this component serves as a critical interface between gas cylinders and downstream equipment such as regulators, manifolds, and pigtails. The nipple is precision-machined from high-quality brass, a material selected for its excellent mechanical strength, resistance to corrosion, and non-sparking properties, making it suitable for a variety of industrial environments.

With a length of 3.500 inches, this nipple provides sufficient extension to accommodate various fitting configurations while allowing adequate clearance for tool access during installation and maintenance. The body features an 11/16″ RC Hex section, enabling technicians to apply the necessary torque for a leak-tight seal without damaging the component. The primary connection interface is designed to be compatible with multiple Compressed Gas Association (CGA) standards, including CGA-500, CGA-510, CGA-580, and CGA-590. This multi-standard compatibility makes the WES15-4 an invaluable inventory item for facilities handling diverse gases such as Medical Mixtures, POL Acetylene, Argon, Helium, Nitrogen, and Industrial Air.

The tail end of the nipple is threaded with a 1/4″ NPT (National Pipe Taper) male connection. This standard tapered thread ensures a tight, pressure-resistant seal when mated with corresponding female NPT fittings. The component is rated for pressures ranging from 500 PSIG up to 3000 PSIG, depending on the specific gas service and assembly configuration. As a product manufactured in the United States, it adheres to rigorous quality control measures, ensuring consistent dimensions and surface finish. Whether used in laboratory settings, welding fabrication shops, or industrial gas distribution networks, the WES15-4 delivers the performance and safety required for handling pressurized gases.
