The Victor 0390-0005 Repair Kit is a specialized maintenance package designed for the overhaul of Victor cutting attachments, specifically the CA2460 and CA1050 models. In the field of industrial oxy-fuel cutting, the integrity of equipment seals is paramount for both safety and performance. Over time, the O-rings, washers, and seals within a cutting attachment can degrade due to thermal cycling, exposure to fuel gases, and general wear and tear. This degradation can lead to gas leaks, fluctuating flame characteristics, and potential safety hazards. This kit provides a comprehensive solution by supplying all the necessary soft parts required to restore the attachment to its original factory specifications.<\/p>\n
Engineered by Victor, this kit ensures strict adherence to dimensional tolerances and material compatibility. The components included in the 0390-0005 kit are manufactured from high-grade elastomers and materials selected for their resistance to oxygen and common fuel gases such as acetylene, propane, and propylene. Using genuine OEM parts is critical in high-pressure gas systems to prevent failure under load. This kit is explicitly referenced for the CA2460 cutting attachment, a workhorse in the fabrication industry, and is also compatible with the CA1050 model. Technicians utilizing this kit can expect a direct fit without the need for modification, ensuring a streamlined repair process.<\/p>\n
