The Miller 13236 Spring, Cutting Valve is a critical replacement component designed to maintain the operational integrity of your oxy-fuel cutting equipment. As a genuine OEM part, it is engineered to meet the exact specifications required for Miller and compatible Smith Equipment cutting attachments. This compression spring is located within the cutting valve assembly, providing the necessary tension to return the cutting lever to the closed position immediately upon release. Failure of this spring can lead to dangerous oxygen leaks, inability to stop the cutting stream, or poor process control.

Constructed from high-quality spring steel, the 13236 offers excellent fatigue resistance and durability under the thermal and mechanical stresses typical of industrial welding and cutting environments. Regular maintenance of torch assemblies is vital for safety and performance; replacing a worn or fatigued valve spring is a simple yet essential repair. This part ensures that the high-pressure cutting oxygen is strictly controlled, allowing for precise starts and stops during fabrication tasks.

When servicing your equipment, using authentic Miller parts guarantees proper fitment and function. Generic springs may not offer the correct compression rate or dimensional accuracy, potentially compromising the seal of the valve. The Miller 13236 is the specified replacement for restoring the tactile response and safety mechanism of your cutting torch’s oxygen valve system.
