The Walter 48M536 is a complete field coil assembly designed as a direct replacement for specific electric motors within the Walter Surface Technologies power tool lineup. As the stationary component of the electric motor’s electromagnetic system (often referred to as the stator), this 2-pole field coil is critical for generating the magnetic field required to interact with the armature and produce rotation.<\/p>\n
Manufactured to Walter’s exacting industrial standards, this component features high-grade copper windings insulated to withstand the thermal and mechanical stresses typical of heavy-duty grinding and finishing applications. The “Complete” designation indicates that the winding is pre-assembled, likely including the necessary insulation paper, taping, or housing structure required for immediate installation into the motor housing. Failure of a field coil can manifest as motor overheating, loss of torque, excessive sparking, or a complete failure to start. Replacing a damaged coil with this OEM part restores the tool’s electrical efficiency and mechanical output.<\/p>\n
