The Walter Flexcut 15L753 is a high-performance flexible grinding wheel designed to bridge the gap between standard depressed center grinding wheels and resin fiber sanding discs. Engineered with a proprietary bond and a unique diamond-cut pattern, this 5-inch wheel delivers aggressive stock removal typical of a hard wheel while offering the flexibility required for blending and finishing operations. The Type 29 conical profile ensures an optimal angle of attack (typically 15 to 30 degrees), maximizing the contact area between the abrasive and the workpiece.<\/p>\n
Manufactured with premium aluminum oxide grain (A-36-X-FLEX), this wheel is formulated to resist loading, making it highly effective on ferrous metals, stainless steel, and non-ferrous materials like aluminum. The reinforced construction allows for safe operation at high rotational speeds up to 12,200 RPM. The flexibility of the wheel matrix dampens vibration, which not only improves surface finish quality but also reduces mechanical stress on the angle grinder’s gearing and bearings. This specific SKU features a 7\/8-inch arbor, compatible with standard industrial angle grinders.<\/p>\n
