The Walter 15F156 COOLCUT™ Flap Wheel is an industrial-grade abrasive tool designed for professionals who demand consistency and longevity in their finishing operations. Manufactured in Italy, this 1-inch by 1-inch flap wheel is engineered using the highest quality abrasive cloth available, ensuring that it stands up to rigorous daily use in MRO and fabrication environments. The wheel features a 60-grit abrasive texture, making it an excellent choice for intermediate finishing tasks where both material removal and surface blending are required simultaneously.

One of the defining characteristics of the COOLCUT™ series is the optimal number of flaps arranged around the central hub. This density is not arbitrary; it is calculated to provide a cushioned yet firm contact with the workpiece, allowing for controlled material removal without gouging. The flaps are securely bonded and the entire unit is precision-balanced. This attention to manufacturing detail significantly reduces vibration during operation, which protects the power tool’s bearings and reduces operator fatigue during extended use. For procurement specialists seeking reliable consumables that reduce downtime and replacement frequency, the 15F156 offers exceptional value.

This flap wheel is specifically designed to produce a uniform, grained satin finish. It excels in applications involving general-purpose blending, shaping, and deburring. Whether working on mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminum, the abrasive cloth maintains its cutting efficiency while resisting loading. The compact 1×1 inch size allows for precise manipulation in confined areas, making it a versatile addition to any industrial tool crib. By maintaining a consistent finish throughout the life of the wheel, Walter ensures that quality control standards are easily met on every part processed.
