The Walter Allsteel™ 4.5″ x 3/16″ Stringer Bead Wire Brush (SKU: 13W461) is a specialized industrial abrasive tool designed for the most demanding metal fabrication environments. Engineered specifically for the pipeline and pressure vessel industries, this brush features a narrow 3/16-inch face width, making it the ideal solution for cleaning root pass welds, preparing expansion joints, and accessing tight corners where standard wire wheels cannot reach.

Walter Surface Technologies has built a reputation on safety and performance, and the Allsteel series exemplifies this commitment. The 13W461 is manufactured with premium-grade carbon steel wire that is meticulously twisted into tight knots. This construction ensures that the brush maintains its narrow profile even under high rotational speeds and pressure, preventing the “blooming” effect common in lesser brushes. The result is a consistent, aggressive cutting action that effectively removes slag, silica islands, and heavy spatter without damaging the base material.

One of the standout features of this stringer bead brush is its exceptional balance. Every unit undergoes a rigorous balancing process during manufacturing to ensure concentricity. For the operator, this translates to significantly reduced vibration, lower fatigue during extended use, and extended life for the angle grinder’s bearings. Whether you are working on structural steel, pipe fabrication, or general maintenance, the Allsteel Stringer Bead brush delivers the reliability and safety required for professional applications.

This brush is particularly suited for:

Key Industrial Applications
