The Walter Surface Technologies 13H404 Saucer Cup Brush represents a significant evolution in wire brush design, specifically engineered to bridge the gap between standard cup brushes and wire wheels. Traditional cup brushes are limited to flat surfaces, while wire wheels struggle with broad surface area coverage. This innovative “Saucer Cup” design features a built-in working angle of 45 degrees, allowing the operator to attack complex geometries, inside corners, and irregular contours with precision and efficiency. The 4-inch diameter provides ample coverage for larger workpieces while remaining compact enough for detailed tasks.<\/p>\n
Constructed with premium knot twisted wire, this brush is designed for aggressive material removal. The twisted knot configuration provides high impact action, making it ideal for removing heavy scale, weld slag, and corrosion. Unlike crimped wire, which is softer and more flexible, knot twisted wire holds its shape under load, delivering consistent performance in demanding industrial environments. This specific model is tailored for use on stainless steel, ensuring that the wire composition is compatible with the workpiece to prevent ferrous contamination and subsequent rust issues.<\/p>\n
