The Walter FX Stainless Wheel (SKU: 07X683) is a premium abrasive solution designed for industrial maintenance, repair, and fabrication environments where surface finish quality is paramount. Engineered by Walter Surface Technologies, this 8-inch non-woven wheel is specifically formulated to enhance the appearance of stainless steel surfaces, delivering a consistent and flawless #4 finish that meets strict sanitary and aesthetic standards.

In MRO operations, efficiency and safety are critical. The FX Stainless Wheel addresses both by replacing traditional wire brushes. Unlike wire wheels, which can shed dangerous filaments and cause injury, this non-woven abrasive wheel remains intact, providing a safer working environment for operators. Furthermore, its specialized grain blend is guaranteed to be free of iron, sulfur, and chlorine, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination that can lead to corrosion on stainless steel and aluminum components.

The wheel’s dimensions (8″ x 1″ x 7/8″) make it suitable for bench grinders and pedestal units commonly found in fabrication shops. Its unique “FX” design ensures consistent performance throughout the product’s lifespan, meaning the finish quality does not degrade as the wheel wears down. This consistency reduces rework and ensures that every part processed meets the required specifications. Whether used for cleaning up welds, removing oxidation, or blending surfaces, the Walter FX wheel is a durable, high-performance asset for any professional workshop.
