The Walter 04G202V 2″ Blendex Twist Disc in Coarse grade is engineered for heavy-duty surface conditioning applications where efficiency and finish quality are paramount. Part of Walter’s renowned Blendex family, these non-woven abrasive discs are designed to deburr, blend, and clean metal surfaces without altering the geometry of the workpiece. The open-web structure of the non-woven material allows for cool operation, significantly reducing the risk of heat discoloration or warping on sensitive metals like stainless steel and aluminum.<\/p>\n
This specific model features a Coarse grit rating, making it the ideal choice for aggressive material removal tasks such as leveling weld seams, removing heavy oxidation, and blending deep scratches. Despite its aggressive nature, the disc maintains a consistent finish throughout its lifespan, ensuring that the surface is properly prepared for subsequent finishing steps or coating applications. The 2-inch diameter is perfectly sized for accessing hard-to-reach areas, internal diameters, and complex contours that larger discs cannot touch.<\/p>\n
