The Tregaskiss Style MXL 400A MIG Gun is engineered for high-volume industrial manufacturing and heavy fabrication environments. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of continuous welding operations, this air-cooled torch delivers a robust 400-amp output, making it suitable for welding thick structural steel, heavy equipment, and pressure vessels. The gun comes pre-configured with a liner and contact tip setup for 0.045-inch wire, a standard diameter for high-deposition applications. Its 15-foot cable assembly provides the necessary reach to access large weldments without constantly repositioning the wire feeder, enhancing workflow efficiency in busy shop floors.<\/p>\n
This model features a Miller-style back-end connection, ensuring direct plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of Miller wire feeders and integrated power sources. The power pin is precision-machined for optimal conductivity and secure seating, minimizing voltage drop and gas leaks. The “Tough Gun” chassis architecture is built to withstand impact, heat, and abrasion. The outer cable jacket is constructed from high-grade, cut-resistant materials that protect the internal power cable, gas hose, and control leads from shop floor hazards. Heavy-duty strain reliefs at both the handle and the feeder end prevent cable kinking and pull-out, significantly extending the service life of the gun assembly.<\/p>\n
