The Tweco Spray Master SMV412 is a premier choice for industrial welders requiring a robust, air-cooled MIG gun that delivers consistent performance under heavy use. This specific model (10401832) is rated for 400 Amps at a 60% duty cycle, making it ideal for structural steel fabrication, heavy equipment manufacturing, and general industrial welding applications. It comes equipped with a 12-foot cable, providing ample reach around large workpieces without compromising wire feedability.

One of the standout features of the SMV412 is the integration of Tweco’s Velocity™ consumable platform. Unlike traditional threaded tips, Velocity contact tips are threadless and drop into the gas diffuser, locked in place by the nozzle. This design creates a solid electrical and thermal connection, keeping the tip cooler and extending its lifespan. The “Euro” back-end connection on this model ensures compatibility with a vast range of welding power sources that utilize the European standard receptacle, offering flexibility for shops with mixed equipment fleets.

Designed for operator comfort, the Spray Master handle is ergonomically shaped to reduce hand fatigue during long welding shifts. The gun is pre-configured for 1/16″ (1.6mm) wire, suitable for high-deposition welding. Whether you are welding mild steel, stainless, or aluminum (with the appropriate liner), the Tweco Spray Master V-Series delivers the reliability professionals trust.
