The Western Enterprises QDB10 Quick Connect Set is a premium solution designed to streamline oxy-fuel operations while significantly upgrading safety standards. Engineered for professional welders and fabricators, this set facilitates the rapid connection and disconnection of torches to hoses without the need for wrenches or specialized tools. The set includes components for both oxygen and fuel gas lines, specifically designed to fit standard B-Size 9/16″-18 threads commonly found on industrial welding and cutting equipment.

Manufactured in the United States, the QDB10 features a high-quality brass construction that ensures longevity and resistance to corrosion. The robust material choice is essential for withstanding the harsh conditions of industrial environments, including exposure to heat, sparks, and physical impact. The precision machining guarantees a secure fit, utilizing a double seal socket connection that maintains a gas-tight integrity even under the rigors of daily use. This dual-seal design provides peace of mind, ensuring that leaks are effectively prevented at the connection point.

Safety is paramount in oxy-fuel applications, and the QDB10 addresses this with built-in reverse flow check valves. These valves are designed to instantly close if gas begins to flow in the wrong direction, a critical feature for preventing the mixing of oxygen and fuel gases in the hose—a precursor to dangerous flashbacks. Furthermore, the connectors are mechanically keyed to be non-interchangeable. This fail-safe design physically prevents the accidental connection of an oxygen line to a fuel gas port, or vice versa, eliminating one of the most common causes of welding accidents.

Beyond safety, the QDB10 enhances workflow efficiency. The spring-loaded locking mechanism responds to simple fingertip action, allowing operators to switch between different torches (e.g., cutting attachment to heating tip) in seconds. Rated for up to 200 PSIG and UL Listed, this set is a dependable addition to any professional gas apparatus setup.

[2030,2869

post-1779557","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-oxy-fuel-equipment","product_cat-uncategorized","pa_material-brass","pa_packaging-description-1-per-each","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple

Robust Brass Construction
