The Pferd 48194 Combiclick Kit is a professionally curated assortment of abrasive tools designed to take a workpiece from a rough state to a mirror finish. This 5-inch kit utilizes the innovative Combiclick mounting system, which is engineered to maximize productivity and finish quality in industrial environments. The system’s unique geometry incorporates cooling slots in the backing pad, which work in tandem with the discs to significantly increase air throughput. This results in a thermal load reduction of up to 30%, making it an exceptional choice for working on thermally sensitive materials such as stainless steel and aluminum.

This kit is not merely a sample pack but a comprehensive tooling solution. It begins with aggressive stock removal using the Ceramic Oxide CO-COOL discs (36 and 120 grit), which feature active grinding additives to prevent loading and glazing. For intermediate sanding, the Aluminum Oxide A-COOL discs (220 grit) provide a consistent scratch pattern. The set then transitions to surface conditioning with non-woven discs in Coarse, Medium, and Very Fine grades, allowing operators to blend weld seams and refine surfaces seamlessly. Finally, the inclusion of unitized discs, felt discs, and a universal polishing paste enables the user to achieve high-gloss and mirror finishes without changing tools or machines.

The included backing pad features a standard 5/8-11 thread, ensuring compatibility with the vast majority of 5-inch angle grinders used in North American fabrication shops. The Combiclick mechanism allows for toolless disc changes—simply click and turn—which drastically reduces downtime between process steps. By combining high-performance abrasives with an advanced cooling mounting system, the Pferd 48194 kit offers a streamlined workflow for MRO professionals, fabricators, and metal finishers seeking consistent, high-quality results.

This set ships with a sample quantity (100 grams) of a universal polishing paste.
