The Optrel e650 Welding Helmet (SKU: 1006.300) represents a significant advancement in the Expert Series of personal protective equipment for industrial welders. Engineered in Switzerland, this auto-darkening helmet is designed to meet the rigorous demands of professional fabrication environments. The core of the e650 is its high-performance Auto-Darkening Filter (ADF), which provides a variable shade range of DIN 9 to 13, making it adaptable to a wide spectrum of amperages and welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW.

A distinguishing feature of the e650 is its optical quality and sensor management. The unit is equipped with a patented Sensor Slide mechanism that allows the operator to adjust the detection angle of the photosensors from 120° down to 60°. This technical capability is critical in complex industrial settings where nearby welding arcs or overhead lighting might otherwise trigger the filter inadvertently. Furthermore, the helmet includes continuously adjustable sensitivity and an opening delay function (

Technical Overview of the Optrel e650 Expert Series The Optrel e650 Welding Helmet (SKU: 1006.300) represents a significant advancement in the Expert Series of personal protective equipment for industrial welders.
