The Miller 280960 is a specialized 90-degree elbow fitting designed for precise fluid or gas routing within industrial equipment. Engineered with a -8 Female JIC (Joint Industry Council) swivel on one end, it features a standard 3\/4-16 thread pitch, widely used in high-pressure hydraulic and fluid transfer applications. The swivel nut design is critical for installation, allowing the fitting to be tightened onto a male flare without rotating the entire hose assembly, thereby preventing torsional stress and potential line failure.<\/p>\n
The opposing end is designated for a -8 Hose connection, facilitating a secure transition from a rigid port or line to a flexible hose. This configuration is essential for managing routing around corners or obstacles within machine internals. The 90-degree angle provides a sharp turn that minimizes the space envelope required for plumbing, making it ideal for the compact interiors of welding power sources and cooling systems. Constructed to meet OEM specifications, this fitting ensures compatibility with the pressure and temperature ratings typical of Miller welding equipment.<\/p>\n
