The Miller 269484 is a specialized power input cable designed to meet the rigorous electrical standards required by Miller Electric welding equipment and industrial accessories. As a genuine OEM component, this cable is engineered to replicate the exact specifications of the original factory part, ensuring seamless integration with the machine’s internal power distribution system. The cable features a 7-foot length, providing sufficient reach for standard workshop configurations without introducing excessive voltage drop or cable management issues common with over-length cords.

Constructed with a 16-gauge wire diameter (16 AWG), this cable is rated for specific amperage loads typical of auxiliary equipment, cooling units, or control circuits within larger welding systems. The “3C” designation indicates a 3-conductor configuration, typically comprising hot, neutral, and ground wires, which is essential for maintaining the safety grounding of the connected equipment. The insulation material is selected to withstand the harsh environments found in industrial settings, offering resistance to abrasion, minor impacts, and incidental contact with shop debris.

Electrical integrity is paramount in welding operations. Using a non-compliant or generic power cord can lead to poor connections, overheating, or safety hazards. The Miller 269484 ensures that the conductor resistance and insulation breakdown voltage meet the manufacturer’s design criteria. This part is supplied as a single unit, ready for termination into the machine’s power block or switch. Technicians replacing this cable should verify the strain relief and terminal connections are torqued to spec to maintain the UL/CSA listing status of the equipment.
