Restore the heartbeat of your industrial welding equipment with the Miller 249305 Replacement Engine. This unit is a genuine OEM replacement part, specifically the Kohler Command PRO CH730-3268, designed to meet the rigorous demands of Miller engine-driven welders. When your welding operations depend on reliable, mobile power generation, substituting with a generic engine can lead to fitment issues or inadequate power stability. This direct replacement ensures that your machine operates exactly as the manufacturer intended, maintaining the arc stability and auxiliary power generation capabilities you rely on.

The Kohler CH730 is a powerhouse in the industrial engine market, featuring a V-Twin cylinder design that offers superior balance and reduced vibration compared to single-cylinder alternatives. Rated at approximately 23.5 horsepower, this air-cooled, 4-cycle gasoline engine provides the torque and stamina required for long duty cycles on the job site. It features a full-pressure lubrication system with a spin-on oil filter, which is critical for engines running at constant high RPMs under load. This system ensures that all critical components are lubricated and cooled, significantly extending the service life of the engine.

Maintenance is simplified with the inclusion of hydraulic valve lifters, which eliminate the need for periodic valve lash adjustments—a common headache with other industrial engines. The engine also boasts a heavy-duty air cleaner system, essential for welding environments often filled with metal dust, grinding debris, and dirt. The electric start mechanism provides reliable ignition, ensuring you aren’t wasting time struggling to start your equipment in the field. Whether you are repairing a Miller Bobcat, Trailblazer, or another compatible engine-driven welder, the Miller 249305 offers the perfect blend of power, durability, and ease of installation.
