The Miller 248274 Easy-Glide Wear Pad is an essential replacement component designed specifically for Miller Wireless Foot Controls. In the demanding environment of a welding shop or industrial site, foot controls are frequently repositioned, dragged, and slid across concrete floors. Over time, the contact points on the bottom of these expensive control units can wear down, potentially exposing the casing to damage or making the pedal unstable. This genuine Miller replacement pad restores the original functionality and protection of your equipment.

Manufactured from Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), this wear pad is engineered for extreme durability. UHMWPE is known for its incredibly low coefficient of friction and high resistance to abrasion and impact. This material choice ensures that the “Easy-Glide” name is accurate; the pad allows the foot control to slide smoothly when you need to reposition it, yet remains tough enough to withstand the grit and debris common in welding environments. Unlike standard rubber feet that might degrade or tear, this UHMWPE pad maintains its structural integrity over long periods of use.

This replacement part is manufactured to exact specifications to ensure a perfect fit for your Miller Wireless Foot Control. It features a diameter of 1.688 inches and a height of 0.438 inches, providing the correct clearance for the pedal base. The integrated 0.265-inch diameter mounting hole allows for secure attachment using standard hardware. Because it is an OEM part, you can trust that the tolerances are tight and the installation will be straightforward, requiring no modifications to your existing equipment.
