The Miller Classic Cloth Sleeves (SKU: 247148) are engineered to provide reliable secondary protection for industrial workers engaged in light-duty welding applications. Manufactured from high-quality 9-ounce flame-resistant (FR) Navy cotton, these sleeves offer a balance of breathability and thermal protection against sparks and spatter. The material is pre-shrunk during the manufacturing process, ensuring that the sleeves maintain their dimensional integrity and fit even after repeated wash cycles, addressing a common issue with standard cotton safety apparel.<\/p>\n
Functionality and fit are central to the design of the 247148 model. The sleeves measure 18 inches in length, providing ample coverage from the wrist to the upper arm. A key technical feature is the innovative one-handed cinch closure system located at the bicep. This mechanism allows the user to easily adjust the tightness of the upper cuff without removing their gloves or requiring assistance, ensuring the sleeve remains securely in place during active work. At the distal end, fold-in sleeve snaps allow for a tapered fit around the wrist, reducing the risk of loose material catching on equipment or allowing debris to enter.<\/p>\n
