The Miller 246380 Housing, Power Pin M-100 is a critical replacement component designed specifically for Miller M-100 series MIG welding guns. This housing serves as the protective outer shell for the power pin assembly located at the rear of the gun, where it connects to the wire feeder or welding machine. Manufactured by Miller Electric, this part ensures exact dimensional fidelity, guaranteeing that the connection remains secure and that the internal components of the power pin are shielded from physical damage, dust, and debris common in industrial environments.

Over time, the rear housing of a MIG gun can become cracked or damaged due to frequent connecting and disconnecting, accidental drops, or general wear and tear. A compromised housing can lead to loose connections, which may result in erratic arc performance, gas leaks, or even safety hazards if the electrical isolation is breached. Replacing a damaged housing with this genuine OEM part restores the structural integrity of the gun’s rear connection. The housing is molded from high-impact, heat-resistant composite materials capable of withstanding the rigors of daily welding operations.

Installation of the 246380 housing is straightforward and is an essential step in the maintenance and refurbishment of M-100 MIG guns. By utilizing genuine Miller parts, operators ensure that the fitment matches the original factory specifications, preventing issues with wire feeding or gas flow that can arise from using ill-fitting aftermarket alternatives. This component is sold individually and is a direct replacement for the original housing supplied with the M-100 gun assembly.
