The Miller 246262 is a premium OEM replacement battery cable designed specifically for Miller engine-driven welding equipment. As a critical component in the starting system of your welder generator, this cable connects the positive terminal of the battery to the starter solenoid or isolation switch. Manufactured to Miller’s exacting standards, it ensures that your equipment receives the necessary current to crank the engine reliably, even in cold weather or demanding job site conditions.

Constructed from high-quality 4 AWG copper wire, this cable is engineered to handle the high amperage loads required during the ignition process without significant voltage drop. The 36-inch length is pre-measured to fit specific machine chassis layouts, preventing the hazards of excess slack or the strain of a cable that is too short. The insulation jacket is formulated to withstand the harsh environment of a welding machine engine compartment, offering resistance to vibration, heat, oil, and abrasion.

One end of the cable is terminated with a robust 0.312 (5/16 inch) ring terminal, designed to bolt securely onto standard battery posts or solenoid studs. Using genuine Miller parts like the 246262 ensures that you maintain the factory safety and performance specifications of your equipment. Generic cables may lack the proper insulation rating or strand count, leading to premature failure or starting issues. This assembly comes ready to install, saving maintenance teams time and ensuring a professional repair.
