The Miller 246260 Cable, Battery Positive 32″ 4 AWG .312 Ring is a critical component designed to ensure your engine-driven welding equipment starts reliably every time. As a genuine Miller Electric OEM replacement part, this cable is engineered to meet the exact specifications of your machine, providing a level of quality and durability that generic aftermarket cables often fail to match. In the demanding environments where welders operate—ranging from construction sites to fabrication shops—ensuring your power source is dependable is paramount to maintaining productivity.

This positive battery cable features a robust 4 AWG copper conductor, selected specifically for its ability to handle the high current demands of starting an industrial engine. The 32-inch length is precision-cut to fit the battery compartments of compatible Miller equipment, ensuring that the cable routes cleanly without excess slack that could snag or insufficient length that causes strain on the terminals. The cable is terminated with a professional-grade 0.312-inch (5/16″) ring terminal, designed to provide a tight, secure connection to the battery post, minimizing resistance and preventing power loss during the ignition cycle.

Over time, battery cables can degrade due to exposure to elements, vibration, and thermal cycling. A compromised cable can lead to sluggish starting, intermittent power issues, or even failure to start, resulting in costly downtime. Replacing worn cables with the Miller 246260 restores the electrical integrity of your machine’s starting system. The insulation on this cable is formulated to withstand the harsh conditions typical of welding environments, offering resistance to abrasion, oil, and heat. By choosing this genuine Miller part, you are investing in the longevity and reliability of your equipment, ensuring it is ready to work whenever you are.
