The Miller 245280 is a specialized plastic elbow swivel fitting designed for precise fluid and gas management within industrial welding equipment. As a genuine OEM component, this fitting is engineered to meet the exact specifications of Miller Electric power sources, ensuring seamless integration with existing internal pneumatic or hydraulic systems. The fitting features a standard 1\/8 NPT (National Pipe Taper) thread on the port side, which provides a reliable mechanical seal that tightens as it is torqued, preventing leaks that could compromise shielding gas coverage or coolant flow.<\/p>\n
On the opposing side, the fitting is designed to interface with 1\/4-inch Outer Diameter (OD) tubing. The 90-degree elbow configuration is critical for routing lines within the compact chassis of modern welding machines, where space is often at a premium. The swivel feature allows the installer to thread the NPT connection securely into a solenoid, manifold, or block without twisting the attached tubing, thereby reducing stress on the line and preventing kinks that could restrict flow. Constructed from high-quality industrial plastic, this component offers resistance to corrosion and chemical degradation, making it suitable for various shop environments.<\/p>\n
