The Miller 245238 Battery Charger is the designated replacement power unit for the Miller CoolBelt belt-mounted cooling system. In industrial environments where heat stress is a critical safety concern, maintaining the operational status of personal cooling equipment is essential. This charger is engineered specifically to manage the charging cycle of the CoolBelt’s lithium-ion battery, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the power cell.

Using genuine OEM components like the 245238 charger is vital for facility managers and safety officers overseeing MRO inventories. Generic or incompatible chargers can lead to improper voltage delivery, potentially damaging the battery or reducing the run-time of the cooling unit. This unit provides a reliable connection and efficient charge cycle, minimizing downtime for welders who rely on the CoolBelt system to reduce temperatures under the hood by up to 17 degrees Fahrenheit.

The charger is compact and designed for the rigors of an industrial setting. It serves as a direct replacement for lost or damaged units originally supplied with the CoolBelt package. By keeping a functional charger available, operations can ensure that cooling systems are ready for every shift, thereby maintaining compliance with heat management protocols and supporting welder productivity. This specific SKU is compatible exclusively with the CoolBelt integrated helmet cooling system.
