The Miller 238348 Kit, Circuit Card Assembly Meter is a critical electronic component designed to restore the metering functionality of specific Miller welding power sources. As a genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part, this circuit card assembly (PCBA) is engineered to the exact specifications required by Miller’s advanced power regulation systems. In industrial welding environments, accurate monitoring of voltage and amperage is essential for maintaining weld procedure specifications (WPS) and ensuring quality control. This assembly serves as the interface for these metrics, ensuring that the operator receives precise feedback from the power source.

Replacing internal electronics requires adherence to strict compatibility standards. The 238348 board is manufactured with high-grade components to withstand the thermal and electrical stresses common in heavy-duty welding environments. Unlike aftermarket alternatives, this OEM board ensures seamless integration with the machine’s main control logic, preventing communication errors or calibration drifts that can compromise weld quality. It is essential to verify the machine’s serial number against the part’s compatibility list, as Miller frequently updates board revisions for specific manufacturing runs.

Due to the sensitive nature of static-sensitive electronic components, Miller Electric mandates specific handling procedures. This item is classified as a non-returnable electronic repair part. It is strongly recommended that diagnosis and installation be performed by a Certified Miller Technician. Improper installation, static discharge, or installation into a machine with other underlying electrical faults can instantly damage the new board. Professional installation ensures that the root cause of the failure is addressed and that the new metering card functions correctly within the system’s architecture.

Installation and Warranty Protocols
