The Miller 237722 Receptacle is a critical component for maintaining the versatility and functionality of your engine-driven welding equipment. Designed specifically as a direct replacement for select Miller Blue Star models, this straight duplex receptacle ensures that your machine can continue to serve as a reliable power generator on the job site. When you are out in the field, the ability to power auxiliary tools such as grinders, drills, and work lights is often just as important as the welding arc itself. This component restores that capability with the safety and durability expected from genuine Miller Electric parts.

Technically, this unit is a NEMA 5-20R receptacle, rated for 20 Amps at 125 Volts. The “5-20R” designation indicates a specific pin configuration that includes a T-shaped neutral slot. This design allows the receptacle to accept both standard 15-amp household-style plugs (NEMA 5-15P) and heavier-duty 20-amp plugs (NEMA 5-20P), providing excellent flexibility for various power tools. It features a 2-Pole, 3-Wire grounding configuration, which is essential for operator safety, particularly in outdoor or industrial environments where grounding is critical to prevent electrical shock.

As a genuine OEM part, the Miller 237722 guarantees a perfect fit within the control panel of compatible machines like the Blue Star 145, 145 DX, and 185 DX. Generic hardware store receptacles may not fit the mounting footprint correctly or may not be built to withstand the constant vibration and thermal cycling associated with engine-driven welders. Using the correct part ensures that connections remain tight and secure, reducing the risk of arcing, overheating, or intermittent power loss during operation. This receptacle is sold individually and is ready for installation to get your equipment back to full operational status.
