The Miller 236955 Stabilizer is a critical internal component designed specifically for select Miller engine-driven welding machines, such as the renowned Bobcat series. In the world of welding, the quality of your arc is paramount. The stabilizer, often referred to as a reactor or inductor, plays a vital role in the welding circuit. Its primary function is to smooth out the direct current (DC) output, filtering out the ripples and fluctuations that naturally occur during power generation. This results in the buttery-smooth arc that Miller equipment is famous for.

Over time, internal components of a welder can degrade due to the harsh environments they operate in—vibration, heat, and electrical stress can eventually take their toll on windings and insulation. If your machine is exhibiting symptoms such as an erratic arc, difficulty maintaining a puddle, or excessive spatter that cannot be corrected with settings, the stabilizer may be the culprit. Installing a genuine Miller 236955 ensures that you are restoring the machine to its factory specifications. Unlike aftermarket generic parts, this OEM component is wound and built to the exact inductance and resistance values required by Miller’s engineering team.

At Josef Gas, we understand that equipment downtime equals lost revenue. That is why we supply authentic Miller Electric repair parts to get your fleet back up and running quickly. This stabilizer assembly is built with heavy-duty copper windings on a robust iron core, designed to withstand the thermal cycling and mechanical vibration typical of job site generators. Whether you are repairing a Bobcat 225 or a Bobcat 250, this direct-fit replacement part eliminates the guesswork of repairs.

Why Choose Genuine Miller Parts?
