The Miller 235476 Circuit Card Assembly, Arc Starter (R), is a specialized electronic component designed to restore the arc initiation capabilities of specific Miller welding machines. In the complex architecture of modern inverter and transformer-based power sources, the arc starter board plays a pivotal role in generating the necessary high-frequency or high-voltage impulse required to bridge the gap between the electrode and the workpiece without direct contact, or to stabilize the arc during the initial phase of the weld. When this component fails, the machine may power on but fail to establish an arc, rendering the equipment unusable for production.

Important Fitment and Policy Information: Due to the complexity of welding machine electronics and the variations between model years and series, it is imperative that you verify this part fits your specific machine. Do not order based on visual similarity or model name alone. You must verify fitment using your machine’s unique serial number. We strongly recommend calling Miller Technical Support at (800) 558-3517 with your serial number ready to confirm that part number 235476 is the correct replacement for your unit.

No Return Policy on Electronics: Please be advised that this item is a non-returnable electronic repair part. Once the packaging is opened or the item is installed, it cannot be returned for credit or exchange. This industry-standard policy is in place to ensure the integrity of electronic components and to prevent the practice of “parts swapping” for diagnostic purposes. If you are not a Certified Miller Technician, we strongly advise against attempting to diagnose or repair internal electronic faults yourself. Incorrect installation can damage the new board or other machine components. If a defect is suspected, the item must be diagnosed by a Certified Miller Technician.
