The Miller 230711 Guide Assembly, Inlet 1/16 (.062) Aluma Pro is an essential component for welders utilizing the Miller XR-Aluma-Pro push-pull gun system. When welding with aluminum, the softness of the wire makes it susceptible to deformation, shaving, and feeding issues if not guided correctly. This genuine Miller inlet guide is precision-engineered to handle 1/16-inch (1.6mm) wire, providing a smooth and protected path as the wire enters the gun assembly.

Using the correct inlet guide is critical for maintaining the high performance of your push-pull system. A worn or incorrect guide can lead to increased friction, wire shaving, and ultimately, downtime due to feed failures. This assembly is designed to fit perfectly within the XR-Aluma-Pro housing, ensuring that the wire is aligned centrally with the drive rolls and liner. By maintaining this alignment, the Miller 230711 helps prevent the “bird-nesting” often associated with feeding soft aluminum wire over long distances.

At Josef Gas, we understand that downtime in industrial fabrication is costly. That is why we stock genuine Miller replacement parts like the 230711 Inlet Guide. Whether you are working in trailer manufacturing, boat building, or general aluminum fabrication, ensuring your equipment is maintained with OEM parts is the best way to guarantee weld quality and equipment longevity.
