The Miller 229341 is a high-quality 10-32 elastic stop nut designed to provide secure fastening for Miller welding equipment and other industrial machinery. In the demanding environment of a welding shop, equipment is frequently subjected to vibration, thermal expansion, and mechanical stress. Standard nuts can back off over time under these conditions, leading to loose panels, rattling components, or even electrical faults if internal connections are compromised. This elastic stop nut, often referred to as a Nyloc nut, features a built-in collar that grips the threads of the mating bolt, creating friction that prevents accidental loosening while still allowing for smooth installation.<\/p>\n
Manufactured from plated steel, this nut offers essential corrosion resistance, protecting the fastener from rust and oxidation that can occur in humid or industrial atmospheres. The 0.38-inch hex design is a standard size, making it easy to install or remove with common hand tools found in any maintenance kit. With a low profile height of 0.24 inches, it fits into compact spaces within machine assemblies where clearance may be limited.<\/p>\n
