The Miller 228746 Electric Fuel Pump is a critical component designed to maintain the heartbeat of your engine-driven welding equipment. When your welder’s engine struggles to start or stalls under load, a failing fuel pump is often the culprit. This genuine OEM replacement part is engineered specifically to meet the rigorous demands of Miller industrial machines, ensuring that your equipment operates at peak efficiency when you need it most. Unlike generic aftermarket pumps that may not meet the specific pressure requirements of your engine, this unit is calibrated to deliver a steady flow within the 5.5 to 9 PSI range.

Operating on a standard 12V DC system, this electric pump integrates seamlessly with the existing electrical architecture of compatible Miller welders. It provides the necessary lift to move fuel from the tank to the engine’s carburetor or injection system, maintaining constant pressure even during long welding shifts. The reliability of your power source is paramount in the field; a dependable fuel pump eliminates the downtime associated with fuel starvation issues, allowing operators to focus on the weld rather than troubleshooting engine trouble.

Installation of the Miller 228746 is straightforward for technicians familiar with engine maintenance. As a direct replacement part, it fits the mounting points and connects to the fuel lines without the need for complex modifications. Using genuine Miller parts guarantees that the component has been tested to withstand the vibration, heat, and dust typical of job sites. Whether you are repairing a Trailblazer, Bobcat, or Big Blue series machine (verification of serial number recommended), this pump restores the fuel delivery system to factory specifications.
