The Miller 221382 Latch, Strap LP Tank is a critical replacement component designed to maintain the safety and functionality of your engine-driven welding equipment. When operating Liquid Propane (LP) fueled welders, the security of the fuel cylinder is paramount. This genuine OEM latch is engineered specifically by Miller Electric to hold the tank strap firmly in place, ensuring that the heavy propane cylinder remains stable even during the roughest transport conditions or high-vibration operation.

Over time, plastic and composite latches can degrade due to exposure to UV rays, extreme temperatures, and the mechanical stress of tightening and loosening straps during tank changeouts. A compromised latch can lead to a loose cylinder, posing significant safety risks on the job site. By choosing the authentic Miller 221382, you are investing in a part that meets the original factory specifications for tensile strength and durability. Unlike generic substitutes, this latch is designed to interface perfectly with the existing strap webbing and mounting points on your Miller machine, ensuring a hassle-free installation.

Maintenance of your welding generator’s running gear and accessory mounts is just as important as maintaining the engine itself. A secure LP tank ensures consistent fuel delivery and prevents damage to fuel lines that could occur if a tank were to shift unexpectedly. Whether you are repairing a Bobcat, Trailblazer, or another compatible Miller welder, this latch restores the integrity of your cylinder retention system. Always verify fitment with your machine’s serial number to ensure this is the correct part for your specific model.
