The Miller 216773 Cover is a critical replacement component designed specifically for the 120V duplex receptacles found on various Miller welding power sources and generators. In the demanding environment of a welding shop or industrial site, equipment is constantly exposed to airborne contaminants, metal grinding dust, and sparks. This receptacle cover serves as the first line of defense for your machine’s auxiliary power outlets, preventing conductive debris from entering the socket mechanism where it could cause short circuits or premature failure.

As a genuine Miller Electric part, this cover is manufactured to the exact specifications required for a perfect seal and secure fitment. Unlike generic aftermarket covers that may not align correctly with the machine’s casing or hinge points, the 216773 ensures that the protective flap operates smoothly and stays closed when the outlet is not in use. This attention to detail is vital for maintaining the safety standards of your equipment, ensuring that live electrical contacts are shielded from accidental contact and environmental exposure.

Replacing a broken or missing receptacle cover is a simple yet important maintenance task. A damaged cover can lead to moisture ingress or the accumulation of dirt inside the receptacle, which can eventually render the outlet unusable or unsafe. By installing the Miller 216773, you restore the integrity of your welding machine’s front panel interface. This part is constructed from durable, impact-resistant materials capable of withstanding the rigors of daily industrial use, ensuring long-lasting performance even in tough conditions.
